CANCER 
Cancer 2020 Horoscope
In terms of the major themes of 2020 and where the weight of planetary activity is focused it is on your relationships. You have had Pluto, planet of change and revolution in your relationship sector since 2008 and Saturn since 2017, but it was Jupiter’s return in December 2019 that has changed everything. Saturn is the hard taskmaster of the cosmos but also the planet that gives you the power to move mountains, asking that you show up and take responsibility. Saturn began a three year relationship boot camp just over two years ago, so you have already put in the hard work. Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion has returned to build on that and whether single, in a relationship or between relationships, this is a major year for building strong and enduring relationships. This includes personal, professional relationships and everything in between.

However, with the North Node in Cancer until 5th May, that and the eclipses this will create is policing a balance between your personal and relationship needs. The first evidence of that will be around the time of a lunar eclipse in Cancer on 11th January, just as Pluto and Saturn are aligning in your relationship sector. In the heart of some of the most powerful forces ever to assemble on the relationship front, the North Node and this eclipsing Full Moon are demanding that this isn’t at the expense of your own needs. You will get that chance again when a lunar eclipse in your relationship sector on 5th July falls during your birthday month, once again bringing your personal and relationship needs into conflict. This is a good and not a bad thing, for it is making sure that your own needs aren’t lost in all this focus on your relationships.

However, this year isn’t just about your relationships, with a major opportunity to not only take a serious approach to money matters between 22nd March and 2nd July but to make the most of a chance to start taking your financial power back. This is preparation for Saturn’s return to your financial sector on 17th December and lucky Jupiter’s return on 20th December and the powerful financial implications this will have in 2021 and beyond. Meanwhile, this professional year will deliver a lot as well. Mars will not only create a surge of activity on the job front during the first six weeks of the year but will capitalize on all the potential and momentum created last year. In the meantime, Mars will return to your career sector on 28th June but won’t leave until January 2021, spending the rest of the year here. With the most potentially lucrative months of 2020 running from 22nd July to 3rd October the timing couldn’t be better.

CANCER 
Cancer 2020 Love Horoscope
It is a given that the focus will be on your relationships from the very start of the year because the Sun will always spend the last 10 days and the first three weeks of every year in your relationship sector. However, this year you not only have a mix of the ordinary and the extraordinary, it will remain that way for the rest of the year. The year begins with the Sun in your relationship sector, with Venus having left in the final days of 2019 and with Mercury, planet of communication having returned just days later. This is the ordinary focus on your relationships that you would expect in any year and with Mercury leaving on 17th January and the Sun on 21st January, this is when the spotlight usually moves off your relationships and you are on your own.

However, the ordinary pattern of each year was disrupted when Pluto, the planet of change and revolution returned in 2008 and then Saturn in 2017, when he began a three year relationship boot camp. All this was in preparation for Jupiter’s return in early December 2019 to begin your luckiest and most important relationship year in over a decade. Or at least that is what Jupiter’s return every 12 years will do, except that this time the planet of luck and expansion not only returns to find Saturn and Pluto here, but they have been helping you to prepare for this since 2008. Coincidently, this was during Jupiter’s last visit, so this is a full circle moment. This is the first time that Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn have come together anywhere since 1982 and for the first time in your relationship sector in our lifetime. While Saturn will leave on 22nd March before retrograding back in on 2nd July, before finally leaving on 17th December, Pluto is here all year and Jupiter until 20th December.

This makes this one of, if not the most important, relationship year in a lifetime and something you have been preparing for, for over 12 years now. With Venus not visiting your relationship sector in 2020, the Sun not returning until 22nd December and Mercury until 21st December, both Saturn and Jupiter will be gone by then, so their contribution is in the early days of the year. In the meantime, while this year is all about your relationships, matters of the heart will get their turn in the very early days of the year, again midyear and then later in the year. You begin the year with Mars in your romantic sector, but gone by 3rd January this is something that needs to be embraced. The next highpoint is when Venus, the planet of love moves through Cancer from 8th August to 6th September, with the faster moving planets then moving through your romantic sector from 27th September to 16th December.

CANCER 
Cancer 2020 Money Horoscope
This financial year is deceptive in that it appears to be an ordinary year as far as both income and money matters go, with the only advantage being that you begin the year with Venus in your financial sector. It has been business as usual in your two money houses for several years now and what that means is that without any long term planetary activity, it is just the faster moving planets influencing things. It also means that there have been large portions of the year were there has been no planetary activity on either the income or financial fronts and in fact, they have spent more time empty than active. While starting the year with Venus in your financial sector is an advantage, this is part of that pattern, with the Sun always turning the solar spotlight on your financial situation and money matters in January. The fact that you begin the year with Venus here means you are able to start the year with your financial confidence fueled and with a financial wish list rather than a list of financial resolutions.

Venus will only spend the first two weeks of January here so will be gone by the time the Sun turns the solar spotlight onto your financial situation and money matters on 21st January, as he does at this time each year. With Mercury here from 17th January to 4th February, by the time the Sun leaves on 19th February the spotlight will shift off money matters. It is then that things will go quiet financially, not to pick up again until things become active but on the other side of the financial fence, with the Sun’s return to your income sector on 22nd July. This is what business as usual looks like, a chance to get your financial bearings in the first two months of the year and then the most lucrative months of the year kicking off midyear and this year running from 22nd July to 3rd October. However, my very first words were ‘this financial year is deceptive’ because while the normal pattern will still play out, there are major developments on the financial front over and above this.

It begins on 22nd March when Saturn, the hard taskmaster of the cosmos but also the planet that can give you the power to move mountains if you have to, returns to your financial sector for the first time in three decades. It is just a few days later that Mars, warrior planet of the cosmos will return for the first time in two years, returning from 31st March to 13th May to fuel your financial passions and fighting spirit. With Saturn giving you the power to move mountains if you have to, together this is a major opportunity to start taking your financial power back. While Saturn and Mars will only be together for six weeks, these will be the most empowering weeks of this financial year. Saturn will retrograde back out on 2nd July but will not only return on 17th December but will bring lucky Jupiter with him, returning three days later on 20th December. The months that Saturn is here are preparation for 2021 and beyond.

CANCER 
Cancer 2020 Career Horoscope
While this year will get a busy start and there are a lot of exciting developments on both the job and career fronts, a lot of what you will achieve this year will come under the ‘fruits of your labor’ umbrella, with a chance to reap what you have sown. While you begin the year with no planetary activity on the job front, this is not representative of where you have been or where you are going. It was in the final days of December 2019 that Mercury left your work sector, the Sun just before Christmas and Jupiter had only just wrapped up a 13 month visit earlier that month. There may be no planetary activity in your work sector on New Year’s Day but this is something that you are still adjusting to and also won’t last. It is on 3rd January, a month after Jupiter left that Mars will return to exploit all the potential. Just when work and job matters should have run their course, the real opportunities will only now have a chance to be exploited.

Mars is in your work sector until 17th February, so the first six weeks of 2020 could be some of the busiest. However, Mars is not building things from scratch and is here to exploit the potential you spent the whole of 2019 working towards and this is when you are likely to reap the fruits of your labor. Mars might get the glory, but it is everything you invested into last year that he is here to exploit. Because the Sun will always leave your work sector just before Christmas but doesn’t return to your career sector until 20th March, there is usually almost a three month gap between the two, allowing for a chance to catch your breath in the early months of the year, before things speed up again professionally. Instead there is zero gap between the two. Yes, Mars will leave your work sector on 17th February and the Sun won’t return to your career sector until 20th March, but Venus will return on 8th February.

However, Venus won’t make heavy demands and if anything will work to ensure that career and professional matters have a slice of Mars’ pie during this crossover period, from 8th February to 17th February likely to be opportune on both the job and career fronts. Venus will leave on 5th March, so will be gone by the time the Sun moves through from 20th March to 20th April and Mercury from 11th April to 28th April. This is the point where the dwarf planet Eris, in your career sector for decades now, should take over and keep things on track for the rest of the year. That is the case though not for long, with Mars not only returning to your career sector on 28th June but not leaving until January 2022. Mars will spend the second half of the year in your career sector but in retrograde motion from 10th December to 14th November, part of that will be a chance to go back over old ground.
